My 6 foot Marlin...

Moms can't get sick....especially ones that stay at home with their kids. Well, yesterday I did. I got a high fever, cold and felt like crap!

My husband put on his super dad costume and came to the rescue. He took one look at me in the morning and that was the last I saw of anyone...until around dinner.

He dressed all three kids and herded them out of the house without waking the snotty monster in bed. He took them to Hop-n-shop, lunch, visit my parents and then brought them home and put them on nap/rest. Then, he made me lunch in bed and brought me my medicine.

I stayed in bed all day until dinner time which he had made! Yum!

My hubby is quite the catch. I am feeling much better today, thanks babe!!!

Snow Day = Dress Up

Today was a snow day for Kayton and Trey...and that means playing dress up! Kayton wanted to be dressed like Bob the Builder ( but she wanted to be Wendy), Kenyon was Woody and Trey was the naked football player!

It was supposed to be Trey's "Leader Day" at school. This means that he gets to bring snack and show-n-tell. We made and decorated Valentine cupcakes last night for his snack.

When I told him school was closed he said "that makes me sad". Then he said "I have a great idea...we could walk to school!!!" I in turn said..."you are right, that is a great idea...but no one would be there."

So instead of going to school, we all bundled up in our snowsuits and played in the snow for the first time this year. It was fun for about 20 minutes and then Kenyon started getting frost bite on her little cheeks and chin and she started to cry.

So...inside for the second great idea of the day...hot chocolate and a warm lunch (with cupcakes for dessert!!)

Preschool Registration

Today was registration for Preschool. As a parent you want the best for your kids and that of course includes their schooling and socializing. Well, Kayton is now 5 and has been in preschool for 4 years. I have learned A LOT about preschool.

What I have learned...
1.) Make nice with the Director and her assistant.
2.) Make friends with the teachers and other mothers...they know things!
3.) When the registration starts at 9:20 a.m. you have to show up at 7 a.m. to get in line to get the classes you want!!

The weather wanted to mess with me today...it was rainy, COLD and icy. School was delayed and so was registration. However, being the super mom that I am...I prevailed! I got Trey into 3 days a week and my preshy baby girl Kenyon is going to be at LCNS 2 days a week! Phew!!

Disney Part 2

Here we all are with Mickey. We were a the Animal Kingdom.
Trey and Kayton had their faces painted.
Trey chose to be a Tiger and Kayton wanted a rainbow design.

Here is Kenyon and Kayton scuba diving with some fish and turtles.

Kayton got a day of beauty at the Bippity Boppity Boutique.
She is showing off her nails and getting her hair done by
Connie...her fairy godmother-in-training.
