I can't believe my baby is in kindergarten!

This is Kayton's first day of Kindergarten. She is wearing a name tag so that everyone knows she is in Kindergarten and can get her to the right place.

Here comes the bus and she is waiting with some other kids to get on.
She was so proud of herself. The bus driver asked if she was in Kindergarten and she nodded and he told her to sit in the front seat.
Here she is on bus 910, she was smiling and waving to us and then she was gone!! I have to pick her up at 11:45 and I can't wait to hear about her day!!!

Sleeping Beauty

This is Kenyon's first night in her bed...as you can see, she is fast asleep. She loves her big bed...she wiggles around and says "ooh comfy cozy!" It has been a couple of weeks since she got her new bed and so far so good. She did fall out once in the middle of the night, but I have remedied the situation.

Ta Da!!

Here is the final product! I have since put curtains on the windows and she still has artwork that needs to go on her walls, but Kenyon has a BIG GIRL room!!!
When Kenyon woke up from her nap (in Trey's room) she went into her newly decorated room and said "look mommy, I painted...it's pink!"

Part 1 and 2

Part One was taping the room, which I did on Saturday morning. Ashley and my mom came over and we primed the room. Then my mom watched the kids as Ashley and I started painting...Part Two!
I was the roller and Ashley was the "cutter". Grandpa would have been so proud of her! I, however, got paint everywhere and had Resolve and paper towels to prove it (see the red bottle and paper towels on the dresser in the first picture :-)
We finished the room on Sunday with another coat...turned the fans on high and opened all the windows. We were anxious to get the room decorated!!

Nursery to "Big Girl Room"...the transformation!

A few weeks ago, Kenyon started climbing out of her crib. It was no surprise, she is 2 1/2 years old. It was just a matter of time that she was going to be getting out of her crib.
These pictures are after I had taken down all her bedding and matching accessories from her room. Just the furniture, books and toys were left.
